Olivier Houben

Olivier Houben joins Vesalius Biocapital IV as Partner, having served as Legal Counsel for VBC I, VBC II and VBC III, intervening regularly on investment dossiers from both a legal and business perspective. He was a Partner at Value4Growth, a specialised consulting and management firm supporting technology and life science companies via strategic consulting assignments.

Olivier started his career with Arthur Andersen in the tax department in 1993 and after two years switched to the consulting department, where he worked in healthcare and on strategic assignments. From 2000 to 2003, he was co-responsible for starting a new business unit for a major Belgian company. He has a Master’s degree in Law from the Catholic University of Leuven, a degree in Tax Law from the University of Brussels and a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Antwerp.
