Qasim Al-Zawawi

Qasim Al-Zawawi has served various Private Equity and Venture Capital investment roles, with a focus on technology and life sciences. He was a member of the investment team at IDO Investments, the venture arm of Oman’s Sovereign Wealth Fund, while also managing their healthcare assets. He is also a member of Omantel Innovation Lab’s Steering Committee, admitting and supporting startups into the accelerator program.

Qasim holds a BSc in Medical Genetics and an MSC in Neuroscience and Translational Medicine from Queen Mary University of London and complemented this with another postgraduate degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge. He has also completed numerous courses in Finance and Leadership from Harvard Business School and IMD Business School.
